Kent Fire and Rescue Service is advising people to make an escape plan
.Now
when you don't have a fire, in order you can escape safely if you do. You should make your escape plan with other members of your family, so everyone knows the way out from every part of the building.
Please identify other ways out, for when you can't get out of the door you always use. Make sure everyone knows what they have to do.

No actually. Carbon monoxide will put you into a deeper and deeper sleep in your own bed that you will be lucky to wake up from.
